"Chalo Hansa Wahi Desh" (Dear Souls let us go to that land of infinite)

Now it is time to jump in the ocean of unknown.
Only those who are ready to jump are invited, otherwise just wait on the bank and be busy in your worldly calculations.

It is time now that Babaji’s work takes a new leap and you all practise intensive Kriya to advance further. For this purpose we had our first full day Kriya shivir (meditation camp) at Tapovan this Sunday (28-11-2010).
16 sadhaks participated in this shivir during which they practised intensive Kriya three times in the day and remained silent for the rest of the time.
(This is to remind one of the aloneness of human being.)
They were not allowed to talk to each other or use their mobile phones and it was truly a great day. In the evening I studied their Aura and all of them were looking so calm and peaceful.
If you think that without you world will stop you are mistaken. Even when you will die, nobody will miss you. They will only think about you for just a few days and then they will get busy with their own lives. Then why waste time; learn the art of being in this world but not of this world. Become ‘Shiva’ before you turn into ‘Shava.’ Babaji has given you the key to the most beautiful treasures in this universe. Open the lock and enter the Kingdom of God, enjoy!

As told by the Great Saint Kabir:

"Kahat Kabir Nirbhaya Ho Hansa,
Kunji Pata Gayee Tala Kholan Ki."

This kind of shivir will happen regularly now and Sadhaks from all over the world will take part. Babaji is arranging everything.

Love,
Gyanswami

A Poem from a Heart of New Zealand

Where ever Gyan Swamiji goes ,Babajis children ask him the way to their eternal home ,
That shoonya mystics have talked about
that the soul has a memory of
He smiles and shakes his head ,
the words I speak just point he says yet,
persisting some want to pay their way ,
How much will it cost they ask?
Once again to this innocent query
he patiently replies ,
The words I speak can't take you there
if you wish pay your way by Dedication & devotion to the inner path
No ticket can be sold nor can it be told ,
For i have a job to do ,To give you the inner eye to see the inner ear to hear
If you will you can ride on the A U M ,
Its the fastest way there.
For those who can see let them see the inner light
those who can hear let them follow the AUM
the kingdoms lights beckon
Sometimes dim - sometimes bright
Once you have seen it
the way is easy to find and you will be alright
Don't be afraid if there are mountains to climb or
if you lose sight of the light
just go on going on
You will be alright
Through the forests of the sub conscious mind
go on going on ,hold on to the breath
Call for Babaji
he is your Guru
He is your Bio plasmic shakti,
he is the belay rope he is the beacon of light He is the AUM
He is the breath of your breath
the inner ear of your ear
from existence to existence
From form to formlessness
He is ever yours
for us Swamiji is all this and more
follow in his foot steps ,he,s been there
don,t rush ,sit in silence ,breathe gently
follow the AUM see the light
Wash His feet with your tears
With him there are no fears
Soon we'll meet in the place
Where no ticket can we buy
The place of self effulgent Light
Where there is no sun no moon no wind no water
no me
only Thee Thee thee .

Visit to New Zealand

My visit to New Zealand, one of the most beautiful countries of the world, was really DIVINE.
Although I went there for the first time but when I met the loving people from Church to Temple, from home to park, from feathered ones to unfeathered ones, I only felt that they all were known to me from many lives.

Babaji had told me that He would be sending real seekers to me. I found the people there God-Intoxicated, expressing their love from the core of their hearts.

I hope with such loving people we can create heaven on this earth.

Poem by a Devotee

Beacon

For that which is beyond, I was searching
On many a tree, I was perching
Saw many holy acts enacted, just to please the audience
When alone, where to invest the proceeds, they sought guidance

I thought, the sea could solve my problem
Set sail, but in the middle of nowhere, I was in a bigger problem
Desperately looking, far and near, for the guiding light
With the ferocious waves, trying to put up a fight

Suddenly, at a stone’s throw, a bright light
Have I found it? I rushed towards it with all my might
Only to find, surrounded by many boats, a bigger ship
As lost as I was, only that it wielded a whip

Dejected, I slowly turned around
More lights, brighter lights, to my delight I found
But to my dismay, the power they were receiving
Was mostly from the smaller boats they were preaching

I continued to be tossed around
Similar to the big ships and boats that I had found
Exhausted, exasperated, I gave out a cry
In these cold waters, was my soul to fry?

Out of the horizon, a steady glow
Slowly towards me, it began to flow
Instead of sucking my energy like an avaricious boar
I could feel, it was giving me some from its own core

As I approached, thinking I would again find another someone
To my surprise, on a solid foundation, I found a firm beacon
Not to miss the opportunity, I immediately dropped anchor
Promised to give DD* with returns beyond the capacity of any banker

The simple practical teachings were
“Laugh, play and do your Dhyana, be you anywhere
You have surrendered to him, He will take care
You do your part and he will bestow on you his grace’s share”

A Mahatma with visible halo, devoid of any airs
Showing the path to realization, with no level gears
Saying, “Levels are for those caught in the rat race
Everything is one, so why identify with your name and face”

(Written on 8-Oct-2010. HE was silently dictating and Milind was typing.)
*Guruji asks for a DD of Dedication and Devotion

LAL BABA A GREAT YOGI OF INDIA

Lal Baba was born in the year 1715 near Gorakhpur (UP), India, in a very rich Brahmin family. He was a born Yogi. He could not remain in family for a long time and became a monk and came to Kamrup Kamakhya temple in state of Assam. The well known Kamakhya temple is very famous for Tantrik Sadhana. He stayed there for 14 years and performed rigorous practice of Tantra Yoga.

Then he left Kamrup and came to the valleys of the Himalyas where for another 14 years he practsed Raj Yoga with various masters near a lake and survived only on Jalkumbhi Sag, a leafy plant, found in water mostly in north India and Thailand where they call it morning glory.

Again for next 14 years he practised many types of Yoga techniques with advanced masters and suvived only on Noni Sag, a leafy vegetable found in north India and eaten mostly by poor people.

After attaining a high status in Yoga he started moving around every part of India.
During 1857 when first Indian independence movement started, he was a grown up Sanyasi. He met Baji Rao Peshwa in Pune, Maharani Lakshmi Bai in Jhansi and Vir Kunwar Singh in Jagdeeshpur, Bihar, and encouraged every body.

Time passed by and Baba was moving and moving. He had not made any Ashram where he could stay for some time.

In Indian freedom movement he blessed Pt Madan Mohan Malaviya, Pt Moti Lal Nehru and many others. When Pt Moti Lal Nehru was not having any issue, he came to Baba with Shree Malaviyaji for his blessing; Baba took them to his Guru in the Himalayas .

Lal Baba used to tell this story many times to his devotees.
His Guru told Pt Moti Lal, “Due to your past Karmas you are not supposed to have any child but since you have come with my beloved disciple, I cannot send you empty handed.”

Then he kept quiet for some time; went in Samadhi and came back and with very bright eyes, looked at Pt Moti Lal and told, “Should I become Your son ?...,ok come tomorrow.”

All of three went there next day and they found him lying dead; the great Guru had left his body and after nine months Pt Moti Lal was blessed by a son who was later named as Jawahar and he became the first Prime Minister of independent India the famous Pt Jawahar Lal Nehru.

When I joined M/S Tata Motors Jamshedpur in the year 1977, naturally many spiritual persons started coming to me. One of them was Mr R P Sinha (Mr Ram Padarath Sinha) who was a disciple of Lal Baba. He told me many things about Baba. In his last birth also Mr R P Sinha was disciple of Baba, Baba remaining in same body. One more was Mr Harinder Singh whose Lal Baba had been family Guru for last five generations.
Lal Baba had told Mr R P Sinha, “ When ever you want to meet me you go to any Shiva Temple and tell Shiva about your desires; he will let me know immediately and I will come to you.”

Lal Baba did not come to Jamshedpur for eight years; many people thought that he might have left his body. It was the month of Shravan (July-August) when people go to Shiva temples and offer prayers.

Mr R P Sinha went to the famous Jyotirlinga Baidyanath Dham Deoghar now in the state of Jharkhand for offering his prayer. People have to fill up their pots with the water of the Gangaji at Sultanganj in Bihar and then they walk a distance of about 82 miles for offering this holy water to the Lord; there he told Lord Shiva that he wanted to meet his Guru Lala Baba. And as he returned to Jamshedpur by train, he was surprised to see his Guru Shree Lal Baba standing at the gate of his house.

Lal Baba told him, “Look, I was passing through Motihari(a town near Nepal border, about 750 KM from Jamshedpur) and Lord Shiva told me that you wanted to meet me,so I came rushing.”

Next day I was informed about Baba’s arrival and I went to meet him. By seeing me Baba stood up and told, “Come, come, you are here, that is good, so nice to meet you my child.”

About 30 persons were sitting in front of him in the drawing room. He told every body to go out for some time and he told me only to stay with him. Then he told me to close the doors and windows. I could know that he had recognized me. He came near me and all of a sudden transformed his body into a cosmic one full of light with very high level of spiritual vibrations. He started transmitting many divine powers in me and at last told me,“People come to me only for worldly desires but you are only person who can understand me so I am giving every thing divine I am having but be careful; do not harm any body with this power, only help mankind my blessed child. When ever I will come to Jamshedpur, you must meet at least once in a day.”

Since then I became his closest person in this world. When ever we met we discussed very high spiritual matters.

In December 1997 he had come to Jamshedpur; I saw his aura and told Mataji that Lal Baba would leave this world very soon, the time had come for his departure. And within a few days he left his body on way to Varanashi from Jamshedpur.

Although he is no more in his physical body but in astral way he is constantly connected with me. I use the divine power he gave me for well being of devotees.(Picture created by Shareall)

UNIVERSE IS INNOCENT; SOME GLIMPSES OF CHILDHOOD

In my childhood I used to play with snakes because I was not knowing that they can bite and that may be fatal.

I was about five years old and staying with my maternal grand father Thakur Durga Singh’s house in village Makhsudhpur near the river Gandak in north India. I used to go the field alone, sit near a hole where there were many snakes and slowly used to touch their hoods and frequently coming out tongue.

After a few days some children saw me there and they told me not to play there, they were afraid of snakes. I told them, “ No I will play there only because the snakes love me, you come tomorrow and I will show you how I play with them.”

And the next day about ten children went there with me. As usual I hit at holes with my palm and one big snake came out, I touched it. Seeing all these things the children started making noise. Perhaps the king snake might have become angry and I was bitten by it on my fingers. Blood started coming, I came home weeping in front of a big crowd. Some herbal medicines were applied and some of the villagers started chanting healing Mantras and I was Ok after about one hour.

Yetserday I received a phone call from my maternal brother Thakur Shio Dayal Singh and he told, “How can you forget this village where you have spent some memorable time of your childhood?”

Yes, I cannot forget so many things from there.
My younger brother Kirtyanand was born there.
I saw the death of my materal grand father who was really a true Indian and took part in Indian freedom movement.

There was a dog there in that house who on every Ekadashi day(the Eleventh day of Hindu calendar)used to vanish some where and come back in the evening.

My maternal uncles on one such day tried to locate the dog; early in the morning they followed him. They were surprised to see his activities; he went to the Gandak river, took bath and then sat on sand platform near the bank facing east and the whole day he remained in this position. In the evening after sun set he came home and ate some thing. He continued his this habit till death (liberation!)

Now I know who he was; why he had become dog in this life and how he rememberd all of his past life.

That is why I tell all of the devotees to be regular in practice and that will take them to ever lasting awareness which will lead them to final liberation.

ONE MONTH IN THE ASHRAM

Dear Children of Babaji,

To day I am completing one month in the Ashram.
A GREAT experience !
When this land was purchased I was having some special vibration. I had told some of our devotees that in very ancient time the great Sage Agastya Muni must have lived on this place; this is full of His Blessing.

Once Dr Arya, one of first two persons in the world to have completed Ph.D in divine science, had visited this place. As he stood here he told," My God! this place is full of divine vibration; it is like cock-pit of an aero plane; world will be governed from here."

I do not know what he meant but what I feel that spiritually the light from this Punya Bhumi (sacred land) of Pune will certainly illuminate the universe.

A few days back on one Thursday i was in my morning meditation and when i was trying to get up suddenly i saw that my complete body had turned into paper white colour. i thought i was dead but i was fully conscious; i tried to touch my body with my fingers, it was Ok; i was alive. I was trying to call Monica-Nived to contact any hospital for arranging many many bottles of A+ blood for me !

But slowly body colour started coming to normal and i stood up for regular day to day works.

Then i remembered one incident of 1978-79 when i was staying in Telco colony Jamshedpur in N 73/5, a one BHK flat. One of my class mates of engineering college was not having job so i had called him to arrange some thing for him. I used to sleep in bed room and he in the drawing room.
One morning when i got up from my meditation i saw he was trembling with fear and he was packing his belongings. I asked him what happened.
He told, "Arjun, i cannot stay with you; you are not a human being, you are a ghost!"

I told him, "What Yaar, how can i be a ghost, i have studied with you in college for five long years and always remained your good friend and you are telling me a ghost! What has happened to you?"

Then he told, "you were meditating and doors were closed but for taking some cloth i entered your room and i saw your whole body was a huge golden flame. How a man can look like that?"

I tried to convince him that i was an ordinary human being but he could not listen and he went home (dist Arrah of Bihar).

My Master has told many times about these types of divine experiences for Kriyaban Yogis. Actually we are one with Supreme Being i.e. God and the entire universe is His manifestation.

Only God and God and God!

With Love,

Gyan Swami

Highlights of Speech to Devotees on 11th April 2010

"Jai Babaji! I had a friend who was a corporate Trainer. He used to take sessions only after Lunch. A towering personality, he had a deep and commanding voice and would say proudly " No one can sleep in my sessions".
During my prawachan If you feel like sleeping after such a good meal you are welcome ! But even I have come to wake you up from your slumber ! Babaji has sent me here to wake you up and not to drive you away! You neither have to run away from you family nor .....( Bhago Nahi Jago )
The journey begins right from where you are now. Someone asked...which way is it to Mecca? ...replied...it begins right from where you are. There is no need to make physical amends. God accepts you the way you are. Even if you have not taken a bath! Just like a mother accepts her child in any state. Even if he/she is dirty she is ever ready to embrace him/her. There is no need to go to the Ganges to get purified.
People don't understand this though it is an open mystery. To become more open you just need to close for sometime. This closing of self inwardly is meditation. And when you close yourself like this you find you have actually expanded and actually opened to infinite. You will understand the world clearly. The real world.
This is actually a mystery of Love. Uddhav chided the Gopis "Krishna left you and has gone away why do you still praise him. Meditate on the Formless aspect of God". Gopis said, “you will not understand this; you keep on talking about Adwait. We are happy being this way. Krishna is like a tilted thorn embedded deep in to our hearts, if we try to take it out we may end up pulling out the complete heart as well”. Surdaas says that looking at their Love Uddhav himself got transformed.
We need to go through such pain. It's a strange way though. Kabir asks yogis to think about such a Knowledge where you don't try to take the help of a boat to cross a river, instead let the flow carry you to the other side. Those who took the boat were drowned and those who let the flow carry them reached the shore. Management training programs in the companies these days urge people to set goals in order to achieve them and poor guys struggle hard way to reach there, creating only more stress in the process.
[ Kabir says, “ Avadhu Aisa Gyan Vichar,
Bhere Chardhe So Adhar Dube,Niradhar Bhaye Par
.”]
These days IPL (20-20 cricket) has made people mad. Someone puts the ball out of the boundry by hitting it and you are so happy. How does it make a difference in your life? The owners make money if their teams win. What do you gain out of it ? Think where are we heading to? If Sania Mirza is marrying Shoaib how does it affect you? Have they even invited you for the party? (laughter). We have gone mad watching T.V. You gain nothing out of it. Monica asked me should we get a television for your room in the ashram since you have shifted there. I said no need! I don't even switch on lights in the ashram at night. Normally, I use my torch. I enjoy the silence and my aloneness and aloneness of silent darkness!
[Again Kabir says, “ Mandir Pesi Chanhu Dishi Bhinge,Bahar Rahe So Sukha
Sari Mare Se Sada Sukhare, Anmare So Dukha.]

Means : Those who entered the temple got drenched in the rain and those outside remained dry. What a strange rain! It is the rain of love for God. Hit by the arrow of love for God what more you need. Such indescribable bliss! Why should we destroy it by petty incidents? Those not hit by the arrow are suffering in pain. A man came to me recently and said sadly “My wife is upset and not speaking to me for the last four days” and I said “so what is the problem? It is great bliss for you.” (laughter). A wife took her husband to the psychiatrist and said “ He mumbles in his sleep” and the doctor said “I am sure It is because you don’t let him speak during the day.” (laughter)
Not being invited for a party eats away your peace! Why should you be hurt? Eat grams and sleep. Don’t bother! Is it worth the effort? Amitabh Bachhan was invited for a ceremony and someone else felt bad. Hit by the arrow of love for God let such petty thoughts fall away. Why are you suffering? You are suffering because you did not enter the temple.
Why worry? Forget all materialistic pursuits. When you are so close to Vishnu, Laxmi will automatically follow you. See how Vishnu is depicted in our shastras, lying down calmly and Laxmi is doing padaseva (massaging feet). You keep on meditating consistently and see how every thing is taken care of. Even if you stand somewhere wearing a lion cloth and sing in praise of lord “Viththal, Viththal, Vithalla”, see how people will shower you with money. All you need to do is be devoted to lord. All who are saints and towing the path of devotion will not have to think for any financial problem. Daihik, Daivik, Bhautik taapa, Ramrajya kahuhi nahi byapa.….. neither will you ever face bodily discomfort, nor will ever face the wrath of the gods. No worldly problems will ever trouble you. God takes care of his devotees. Don’t think of anything other than God. Never try to show off your wealth Suppose you throw a party for the marriage of your son. Such a party that no one has ever seen . People normally feed for a day in marriages and you decide to feed people for twenty one days. No one will even remember it after twenty one hours. Such prestige and pride are of no use. Go beyond all such false pride and closer to your true self then you will see there is no one other than God Himself.
Where is that God? You yourself are God. You are seeing your own projections outside of your self; a pot immersed in ocean has water inside and outside and the day the pot breaks it is water all around. Break that Pot through Kriya Yoga and a day will come when there will be a blast and ego will vanish and you will realize it is only God all around. The day that happens, Kabir says, God will run after you saying Kabir listen, listen… You won’t have to go anywhere God Himself will come after you. In fact God does not come at all as He is already with you or He is you and you are He. Tattwam Asi ! Thou are that.

Poem from New Zealand Devotees on 11th April

Greetings from New Zealand to all loving members of Babaji’s Family. It gives us immense pleasure to share our heart felt offerings to our beloved Swamiji on occasion of his birthday today. It is in a form of a poem inspired after having seen his very clear amazing photo on the blog in March.

With Gratitude

Before Meditation…

As dawn breaks on New Plymouth, in New Zealand the morning prayer flows…offering Gratitude to the ParamGurus for the Divine blessing of Kriya Yoga Babaji in our life!
Just in a flash the words “Children of Babaji” goes through the mind…’Children of Babaji” how sweet like nector the words sound !

Only the Grace of a kind GuruSri can give such an address to the devotees, GuruSri who in all humbleness calls himself a mere “Postman of Babaji”.

A saint like our Swamiji, whose twinkle of a smile radiates warmth that transcends barrier and forges an instant bond,

The saint, a Sahajchit, who teaches us simplicity in all aspects of life and beyond,

The saint who teaches us to surrender the “I” at Babaji’s lotus feet,

The saint who teaches us Kriya Yoga, the path of True Light through Self Realization,

The saint who connects us all through our Global Spiritual Family,

Thank you Oh Heavenly Father, Loving Divine Mother, Babaji for gifting us the torch bearer of Divine Light our GuruSri Swami Gyan in our life today and always!

Flight of Alone to Alone

Dear Children Of Babaji,

From 21st March 2010 i am staying in the Wagholi Ashram.

Many devotees asked me,'Guruji, how you will stay alone in this isolated place?'

It is because i have realised my aloneness. If some one has realised it then he/she can live any where even in crowd and still he/she will be enjoying his/her aloneness. If you are feeling loneliness then it is full of miseries. People have created society, state, country and family etc just to forget their aloneness. Awake and arise and you will see that there is nothing except you in this world and finally you will realise the truth of Adwayat.

After this realisation when you will be feeding some hungry people you will know that you are feeding yourself;helping others is helping self.

This will be the END of that false EGO you are having.

Love,
Gyan Swami

SAINT & SATAN

In old Indian scriptures is has been told,

"Manasch Ekam,Vachasch Ekam,Karmasch Ekam Mahatmnam, Manasch Anyat,
Vachasch Anyat,Karmasch Anyat Duratmnam"

It means, A Saint is the person whose thinking, speach and action are same but a Satan thinks some thing ,speaks in some other way and acts in another way. This life is very short. So every body has to be very pure in all actions and thought.God is always with us but we do not want to be with Him, although we want something from Him but we do not want Him;that is the tragedy of life. The person who wants only God and nothing else is the happiest person in this world.

Kriya Yoga is the scientific way to be with God.In Kriya when a person takes spinal breathings ,he becomes one with the cosmos, one with God and that is the supreme status ,the supreme bliss.

Come & Fly with me

Dear Ones,
Now it is time to go beyond what ever you are stuck up with. You have already lived a long time and enjoyed the rotten smell of your so called world.

Come and surrender to Mahavtar Babaji. But what do you have to surrender ? Is it your body, full of blood , bones , flesh, urine and stools ? Is it your mind full of cunningness , dirty desires, selfish ideas? Is it your property ? What property you are having ? You go to the place of worship and beg to God for more and more money as if God is the culprit of what less you are having.

NO! Surrender your ego and you will see that you do not have any thing with you. Even you do not have a name and in this moment of emptiness you will realise Dhyan (meditation) and once you go to this state of being, you will not remain the same individual; actually you will become 'NO BODY' and when you become no body then you are 'EVERY BODY' and that is Samadhi

And you will sing , " Chidanand Rupha Shivoham Shivoham"; " Aham Brahmashmi."

I want to take you there.Come and fly with me.

With Love,

Gyan Swami

My first meeting with my divine Guru – Mahavatar Babaji

When I was in first year of Electrical Engineering in Bihar College of Engineering, Patna in the state of Bihar I suffered from heart disease. Three valves of my heart were in bad condition. The doctor had announced that this boy will not live more than three months. In 1960s there were no valve transplantation surgeries taking place in India. The doctor consulted was one of the top doctors in state of Bihar, later in 1990s during BJP Government in India he was the health minister. Knowing that my son will die within three months my parents were in grief. In India one of the greatest misfortunes for a father is to see his son’s final rituals during his life time. I thought instead of dying in front of my parents and other family members if I go away from home they will have a hope that my son will come back one day alive. So I left my home without informing any one in the family. The village I lived is near the boarder of India and Nepal, I crossed the boarder and entered in Nepal and started going into deep forest towards Tibet. After walking like this for a long period of time I was very tired and in the evening time I almost fainted under a tree. I had no energy to walk any further or even stand up, it was almost certain to me that now this was the end of my life. No one is going to come and save me, I am going to die either due to hunger or some wild animal will kill and eat me in the night. I closed my eyes and started waiting for the end of my life, but I was surprised to hear a voice, it was the voice of a young man, he looked like a monk. He told me in Hindi language that “you are not going to die; you will give lectures and teach the yoga to thousands”. I was surprised to see some one in the deep forest and speaking Hindi language. Normally the region I was in was near Tibet, so people know either Nepali language or Tibetan Language, but this young monk was speaking very good Hindi. I was not in position to speak or even believe him what he was telling me. But I asked him in my broken language that I can’t speak, by birth I was not able to speak properly, even if I have to tell my name to some one I needed a pen and paper. He asked me to follow him; I had no other choice so I started following him. He took me to a cave near by, and then he took a pot made of stone, poured some water into the pot from near by water fall and started steering it with a wooden shaft. The water in the pot became thick white liquid. He gave it to me and asked me to drink it. As soon as I drank it I felt better, all the fatigue disappeared. He asked me to stay in the cave, I stayed there for three to four days, everyday he used to give me that liquid, and I started becoming healthier. After few days he told me to go back. I left that place and came back home. Everyone in my home was happy to see me coming back alive and healthy, my heart disease was totally gone. The doctors were surprised to see my case; they said that this is a miracle. I went back to college and continued my college studies. At this time I did not know anything about that young monk. I thought he must be a villager, who knew some herbs. I thanked god to send him to me to save my life.
